I've lived here with my family for 6 years and love it. Everyone who works here is attentive and goes out of their way for their residents. Maintenance responds quickly and resolved any issue I had. My only wish is that the leasing company upgraded the insides of the units currently being occupied and thought about putting flooring down and getting rid of carpets completely on each floor. I know other apartment complexes have done it and haven't had any problems. Otherwise, I am a satisfied resident.
This was honestly a nice community to live in. The apartment was outdated but there was plenty of parking, 3 different pools, and they were good about sending out warnings far advance for things like fire alarm testing. They frequently sent out reminders about keeping dogs on leashes and cleaning up their poop or face a potential fine. I appreciated this as my dog does not like random unleashed animals approaching her and it made walking her, especially at night when it was pretty dark around the area, less frustrating because I didn’t have a high chance of stepping in dog poop. The leasing office staff and maintenance staff were always quick to respond and helpful. There was one maintenance guy (don’t know his name but he’s the skinny tall one with tattoos) that always made a point to say hello whenever I would see him around the complex and I always thought that was nice. All in all, highly recommend the place. We lived there for 3.5 years with mostly quiet neighbors and really had very few issues with the place.
I have been here for almost 5 yrs. I really loved it here snd how well the grounds were kept up. However, now the grounds are not any longer kept up at all. Dog poop all over the place, poop trash cans are full for days with flies all iver them, pool furniture and umbrellas are mostly broken and unkept. With the massive rent increases that I have received the last 2 yrs and choose to stay here i would expect the up keep of this community to stay the same as it was or better.
I recently began renting a unit here at veritas apts.
I have a 13 year old hot water tank... I asked the property manager if I would be allowed to put a filter on my water lines they told me NO!.. I asked if i could have the hot water tank flushed or replaced. They told me NO!... I don't understand why. I don't understand why I am not allowed to place softeners and water filters to protect my health. Especially since this hot water tank is 13 years old
Policy & Procedure...
After paying $650.00 (processing fee, admn. fee, and deposit), I was told MY application was denied because I owed a utility bill. After checking my credit report and didn't find the discrepancy I asked for the information and never received it. Because of the refund policy, we had 24 hours to cancel the application or we would lose the deposit. I called the companies CFO, Neil Johnston, who was not available. I was assured someone would return my call and I have yet to speak to anyone. In addition because the office manager could not get the information within the 24 hours, we had to cancel the application. So my advice would be, pay the application fee first and find out if it is approved before paying the other fees because it will take "THIRTY DAYS" before you receive a refund...
BTW, I still don't know the name of the utility company.

Thanks for the response however you have continued to disappoint me I’ve made continuous requests regarding 2 issues Vents being blocked and apartment leaky sinks. Whatever was in the vents caught on fire I guess thats
One way to handle things. I have been unable to use my kitchen sink for 7 months now… it repeatedly floods. I’m not convinced that you care about my safety or satisfaction here.
I’m reaching out to share that I’m still suffering in unit 1034. I was 100% sincere when I explained how bad my pet allergies were! I asked you if a pet lived in the unit, dont recall anyone actually looking just telling me no. I’ve been sick every since I moved in here. Once we discovered that the carpet vender does not vacuum before cleaning the carpet Jennifer promptly lent them a vacuum and had them reclean the carpet. That was super kind “she gets it she had allergies too”. I am still suffering, so far I’ve spent at least $400 trying to remedy this issue myself. I threw away my vacuum got a brand new Shark with hepa filter….. look at all this pet hair. I have purchased 4 separate Hepa filters 2 at $100 each and 2@ $60 each. I really needed a clean apartment with clean carpet before I moved in. I’m sending you this in writing for my/your protection, although I understand carpet life however that rule should not be hard/firm if you do not have a method of verifying pets on property. This should NEVER happen to a new resident…. My move in experience has been a disaster. Lastly do you have a venders that clean these apartments, including vacuuming uggg and the the vents, or is vent cleaning another cost I need to absorb as a 10 day resident at Veritas?

I’ve lived here for three years. The front office is always responsive and friendly. Their manager Jadynn is helpful and handles business like a pro. Feeling blessed to be part of this little community.
The maintenance here is great! They are always on top of our maintenance requests and are very communicative with what work will be done in our unit. The maintenance crew is super friendly. From time to time they have helped my roommate and I take up a few cases of water to the third floor. They are very sweet and helpful!
